STUDENT COMMISSION 

Student Ministry is a starting point for individuals who are called to ministry and are completing their ministerial training. During their training, they are authorized to perform various ministry functions under supervision.

​

The Council accepts students from the National Christian Counselors Association and Sarasota Academy Temperament Coaching programs.

​

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bible Exam or

    • Old Testament Course

    • New Testament Course

  • Theology Exam or

    • Theology Course​

  • NCCA "Quality, Ethics, and Legal Issues in Christian Counseling or

    • Ministerial Ethics Course​​​​​

The Council uses a Background Check as one way to ensure this standard.

Accept Membership

Professional Requirements

- Certify that membership in any other ministry association has not been denied.

- Certify that no complaints are pending or confirmed against the Applicant or ministry.

- Certify that a local Board or Committee provides oversight & annual evaluation.

- Certify that the Applicant has not been charged, arrested, or convicted of a felony.

- Certify that the Applicant is not a named party to any civil or financial legal action.
